We are so honored to celebrate our wedding with you, in person or in spirit, and hope you know that your presence in our lives is a tremendous gift in itself. We’re also privileged to have so many of our material needs met and ask that you not feel obligated to buy us anything (though we do love a good card!).

If you would like to contribute something to celebrate this new phase of our lives together, there is one very special way you can help. Having found such delight in our niece and three nephews, we now look forward to the joy (and challenge) of raising a child ourselves. Our primary reason for purchasing our home last year was to create the physical space to expand our family. Now, with wedding planning nearly done, we look toward the lengthy and expensive adoption process, which we hope to begin next year. Adoption is an exercise in unknowns with cost estimates ranging between $20,000–$40,000 and no telling exactly how long it could take.

We will be leaning on you for support through what we expect to be an emotional and laborious process and look forward to bringing our child into a community of loving friends and family members.
