Getting to Bellingham

By Car

Bellingham is about an hour and 15 minutes north of Seattle on I-5 and about an hour and 45 minutes north from SeaTac Airport. For a slightly longer, more scenic route, take exit 231 and follow signs for Chuckanut Drive (WA-11 N). Chuckanut hugs the Samish Bay and dips into Larrabee State Park.

By Train

The train from Seattle to Bellingham is also an easy, charming ride along Puget Sound, though you’ll need a ride once you arrive. Try to time your departure for just before sunset.

By Air

Bellingham International Airport (BLI) is about 5 miles from downtown Bellingham. It’s a small airport, and it’s likely you’ll have to connect through Seattle anyway, though the price of flying into SeaTac or Bellingham is about the same. Car rentals are available at either airport.

Accommodations

(UPDATE: The Sheraton Four Points is completely booked, but rooms do open up on occasion. We recommend calling to see if there is space available before making alternative plans.) A discounted rate for guests of the Light-Skiena wedding are available at the Sheraton Four Points. You can reserve a room as a wedding guest online.
